 En tant qu'acteur, Patrick Dempsey a atteint de nouveaux sommets en carrière cinématographique grace à Grey's Anatomy. Son nom apporte une forte valeur médiatique pour Hyper Sport partenaires.  Enfant, c'est son père qui lui donne cette passion pour la course automobile.Aujourd'hui, Patrick Dempsey est un talentueux pilote de voiture de course. En Avril 2007, il a participé au Grand Am Koni Challenge series ou il a réalisé sa meilleur performance [4ème position]. Patrick a souligné sa détermination à son esprit compétitifs au plus haut niveau des courses automobiles. Patrick Dempsey courait l'année dernière sous les couleurs du team Hyper Sport. “I think we have a lot of things we should be happy about this week, getting our first pole here is really great. A little frustrating too, we started eighth and finished eighth, we just didn’t have any luck. Something on the front-end of the car broke, it was a sway bar, and that really hurt us a little bit, so we got stuck where we kind of were, and that was it. I learned a lot, I thought my pace was good, and I was really happy with my qualifying. I was really very conservative during the race, I just wanted to save the car and really protect myself against the heat. I got out of the car and it felt good, we were right where we wanted to be, but then it didn’t go our way after that.”
